12th Grade: H.W.#26, Due Monday, 5/3 OR Tuesday, 5/4

  1. Continue prep work on your assigned section of the Toker articler (in your common doc) to prepare for the presentation next class (if you haven’t presented yet). Feel free to contact each other (on chat or any other way) to develop your presentation. It should be informative, thorough, and visually engaging.
  2. Read the following reviews of the book (see below for document).
  3. This article appeared two years ago. Please read it and be prepared to respond with your own opinion. https://www.theguardian.com/books/2019/mar/08/nabokovs-lolita-the-latest-thing-millennials-have-apparently-ruined?utm_term=RWRpdG9yaWFsX0Jvb2ttYXJrcy0xOTAzMTA%3D&utm_source=esp&utm_medium=Email&utm_campaign=Bookmarks&CMP=bookmarks_email&fbclid=IwAR1yjRAf7D-ev86cZ9THEFpUhoTe7fUhe52F-GjPpnC5KiwWa2OSjdS0Pqs

It is impossible to produce a solid response on a novel that has not been read fully.

If you’re curious to learn more about the author of Lolita and “The Story of Lolita,” watch this video. And yes, the question “why did you write Lolita” is asked. How does Nabokov respond? One way to find out…
