10th Grade: H.W.#53, Due 4/18, Thursday

1. Read the introduction and section I of ” Purity and Danger” by Kathleen L. Spencer (handed out on Tuesday). I’ll post the ENTIRE article here (see below). This version has section II as well (which you do NOT have to read). You should be using the version given in class-but if you have lost it or are interested in seeing the entire article (later), you can use this version.
2. GO TO GOOGLE CLASSROOM and find your name with the additional section assigned for you to read from the article.
3. ANNOTATE by writing marginal notes. What is insightful? What is confusing? What is something with which you disagree? What is the argument Spencer advances? etc.
4. Continue memorizing Dracula vocabulary. CHECK OUT AND USE QUIZLETS (created for you by Ms. Donovan and posted in Google Classroom).
