1. Read Chapter 4 (24 pages).
2. As you read, pay attention to details that help you understand how Hin society works in contrast to Gulliver’s. What questions does this picture raise for you? Write down a couple.

Because we’ll only have 14-minute-periods tomorrow (third period is from 12:50-1:04), we’ll won’t really be able to discuss much of this in class and will, instead, do so on Thursday.
